Field Trip

A Tour of Potomac Center and
Air Traffic Control Center Systems Command Center

Wednesday September 28th  9:00 AM to 12 Noon

The Washington TRACON Center provides air traffic control service to terminal approaches at Dulles Airport, Reagan National Airport and Baltimore Airports as well as the smaller regional airports in the area.  TRACON controls the airspace through most of the Mid-Atlantic, including airports in MD, PA, WV, DE, NJ, VA and NC.  The ATCSCC balances air traffic demand with system capacity in the National Airspace System (NAS).  Both facilities are located on the grounds of the first Signal Intelligence listening post in the United States, and presentations and tours of both are included.
